Are Pentium Extreme Editions the only dual-core cpu's that have hyperthreading enabled? And what's the minimum chipset requirement on the motherboard, to run Intel's dual-core?

Hi, good question.

Intel dual-core CPUs supporting HyperThreading are:

Pentium Extreme Edition (840, 955 e 965)

Supported chipsets: Intel 975X Express and Intel 955X Express

Xeon (7030, 7041, 7040 e 7020)

Supported chipsets: Intel E7520 and Intel E8501
