Hi all,
Is there any ways, tricks, or whatever to make my motherboard (gigabyte 8st667) to jump from agp 4x to agp 8x?

Hi,
This is a physical limitation. If you have a car that can go up to 100 MPH, you can't make it to run at 200 MPH, right? The same is true here. You can't transform your AGP 4x slot into a 8x slot as the chipset can only go up to 4x. The only solution is replacing your motherboard.
Best regards,
Gabriel.

Ok. I just thought that something like overclocking or something else would make the agp go fom 4x to 8x.
As you can understand my computer is too old and whatever you are going to do, etc put some new graphics card, is going to be just a waste of money. So i thought that maybe there was a way to make the agp 8x so it can be faster.
Anyway, thanks!

unfortunately not, but if you are going to get a new mobo, then i recommend going for the PCI-Express X16, as that is most common and will live out for a while longer.
