Hi guys,

ever heard of BSOD (Blue Screen on Death)? I bought a laptop and recently i did encounter this problem i think 2x. laptop just shutdown and when reboot, this error pops out.

my cpu is an intel celeron dual core. any idea how to fix it...thanks guys :)

Blue screen of death is a generic problem and can happen on a myriad of situations, thus impossible to tell you exactly what is happening on your computer. Typical problems that show up a blue screen of death include memory problems and driver problems. But like I said, anything wrong with your computer can show it.

The important thing is to write down what appears written on screen, because it says what file caused the error. Studying what the file does may give you a clue of what is causing the problem.

If it happens again, write it down (or take a picture of it) and post it here so we can help you better.

Thanks for the reply. I did encouter lots of hang ups and the last thing happened was i couldn't log on to windows. Eventually, i had my laptop checked at the service center and the problem was narrowed down to the hard disk having problem :)

Just to update. More power to this site, really cool!
