Hi I'm new here.. I'm also a complete hardware noob.

May i ask which is more important when considering to buy a new high-end graphic card, the Memory Clock or Core Clock.

What exactly are there?? :confused:

Core clock is the clock used by the GPU, i.e. the graphics chip.

Memory clock is the clock used on the communication between the GPU and the memory chips.

Performance is reflected by both clocks.
