Hello everyone

My name is Jay, i'm new here. I'm trying to learn more about computer hardware and componets. I'm a video editor and recently I moved from SD video to HDV and I would like to put together a kick ass system to handle my HD footage. I have an idea of what I want yet I don't know enouh about Motherboards/ chipsets or anything else for that matter to put together a system where all the componets would work well. I been reading through the Dictionary and learning terms but i figured ask you guys.

I liked the ThermalTake Full Tower (ATX)
Intel Pentium D 930 Dual Core Processor 3.0Hz-3.6HZ
(2x) 500GB HDs
(2x) 250GB HDs
a video card that would be good for HD res.

The rest I have no idea. could someone help me, i'm way over my head here..lol..yet I still would like to try to put this system together.
