Ay Hoi Hoi,

Specs: MB Sapphire 580, CPU 64X2 6000, 2 pair matched OCZ XFire Cert. PC 6400(4 gig total) PC P&C 750w Xfire Cert. PS, 2 Sapphire X1950 pro @ 512 mem in XFire (GP@574MHz GM@688MHz stock), air cooled using Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme, dual HR03 and lots of custom fabrication including cutting Swiftech BGA memory heat sinks into 4 equal parts and epoxying them (artic silver 2 part epoy) to all the mosfets. Also custom north and south coolers as I ran out of room. Cooling fans are Scythe sflex with Sony fluid bearings.

This is what I ended up with.

CPU 3222, FSB 13x248, Mem Freq @ 460, clks 5,5,5,15,22 &2T
Stable running Orthos 10Hrs, Memtest86 for 5Hrs.
Scores: Hexus Pi 37.95 sec, Si San Lite Mem Bandwidth 10363 MB/s, 3D06 8950 total. 3694 sm2/4095 hdr-sm3/2456 cpu.

The FSB would not go over 270 I don't care what Sapphire says. I could drop the mem freq. and raise the cpu to over 3.3 and change, but mem bandwidth dropped to 6000 and pi took 1.5 sec longer. Mem locks at anything over 460, V at max.

I would like to break 10k on 3D06 but can't think of any more to do. Anything I try with the video cards LOWERS the score?!?. Taking out 2 gigs of mem and the system locks, have to lower freq and I had a noticeable lag time in loading programs/windows.

Breaking the 10K is just bragging rights. I am reasonably happy with this unit.

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx, LL Jones

P.S. I will never buy anything Sapphire again. There customer service is the absolute WORST. I am still waiting for a reply from beginning of Dec. and their web site had the wrong program listed causing my problem.

Many many thanks to the biosman for the replacement chips and fast service.
