maybe this kind of question sound noob, i just want to heard some of your thought and opinion : )

sometimes i just leave or left my computer power on and continuously running at 3days more or less. one time when i was watching tv news, a tv anchor reporting the news about the house is on fire and the cause of it is a computer?

is that really possible to blame the computer causing a fire on the house?

as far as i know mostly branded psu has a power circuit protection?
