Greetings i have two P-III motherboards
i want you to help me from your knowladge to choose the best between the two...
the First motherboard is:
Manufacturer: Intel Corporations.
Model: Intel's CA810 AA744854-442
Chipset: Intel i810 rev.A2
Southbridge: Intel 82801AA (ICH)
the Seconds is:
Manufacturer: Acer Laboratories Inc.
Model: ALi 1631
Chipset: ALI Alladin Pro II Rev.4
South Bridge: ALI M1533
I basicly have an idea which one is better...
the Second is supporting a higher technologies and CPU's...
But i've installed a Pentium III 866/256/133 V1.65 CPU and i see only 433 Mhz!!!
How can i change it???

You have to check if the clock multiplier is correctly set on the motherboard setup, which I don't think it is the case. Also, a BIOS upgrade would be good. Check this article:
http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article.php?id=33
BTW: maybe the motherboard manufacturer isn't Acer (it is the chipset manufacturer). Thus, you will need to find out the motherboard manufacturer first (instructions on the above article).
Cheers,
Gabriel.

Well eventually i found a Manual for the Mobo of mine and Changed the Jumper setting for the FSB to 133 (they were on 66)
And it's working fine now.
Btw my Mobo is: M754Lv1x (http://www.pcchips.com.tw/PCCWeb/Downloads/ProductsDetail_Download.aspx?DetailID=47&DetailName=Driver&DetailDESC=M754L(V1.x)&MenuID=0&LanID=0) type.
I hope you'll help me find additional information for this Model.
/edit
BTW: thank you for your Articles, they were a Great Help. :)
Keep up the Good work.

Your motherboard was manufactured by PCChips. You can download its manual and BIOS at:

thanks, i got the Manual (it helped alot)
But the problem was that the Mobo isn't identifying any PCI Cards i've inserted, the BIOS refused to start!
i tried replacing the PCI slot, and it didn't helped.
Anyway after waisting a whole day tried to revive the Mobo, it worked but didn't accepted any PCI Card
Tried two Microsoft's Products. WinXp/Windows 2003 Server.
I wanted this Mobo to Act as a File and internet Sharing Server.
BTW i followed your Article about Explosive MotheBoards (http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article.php?id=48), and identified the swallowed capacitors.
But didn't had the change replacing it.
