Hey guys;

Just wondering if using a USB wireless-network Adaptor would work for a P2P program such as limewire or bittorrent? And if so, would it be consiterably slower then if I got a wireless network card?

I would rather get a USB one because it would be less expensive when installation cost comes into play.

However, I use an old computer to do my downloading, and would be willing to fiddle around with it to install a network card if someone could send a link of where i could find instructions to do so, as well as precautions of working with hardware inside of a computer.

I really don't think that Hardware Secrets advises on P2P software.
