I have guys in our forums with this PSU and all are happy under 300W load. I even spoke with our AC reseller and he has 0 RMA until now. Every single respectable review don't show that drop on 12V. This PSU is the same as VX450, "old" EA500 and SilverPower SS500, all of them based on Seasonic S12II 500 which performs very well. Maybe you have a dud PSU? Looking forward for an answer. Thanks. __________________ If it ain't broke... fix it until it is. |

Not an electrician, but the different(?) outcomes may be a result of the different power schemes in USA and most of the rest of the world, 115 vs. 230V. The Usanian lower voltage I've learnt - from here I think - results in less outcome/efficiency/performance by was it 5 to 10 %. You may notice that the differences(?) and opinios concerning the PSU follow the nationality of the poster. But I agree to attriute it 550W is deceptive. Even Q-tecish. I always connect low efficiency with... |
