The fourth page of the tutorial ("RAM Memory") is redundant, as RAM stands for Random Access Memory. The article is very informative and such, but my propensity for grammar compelled me to comment on this. Cheers!

Hmm...
This article is just about three years old and feels generally a bit outdated.

Then I question who's the target for the article. It's not very helpful for somebody buying a computer off-the-shelf, where you can't pick and chose components. For somebody picking parts for a new computer it's not deep enough either...

The weakest parts of typical off-the-shelf computers are graphics and RAM performance. (Even worse: At least here in Sweden the graphics hardware used is often described by its RAM size only!

)

This article is outdated and I should update it in the near future.

Yes, RAM memory is a redundancy just like MOSFET transistor and similar sentences. However sometimes I prefer maintaining redundancy to make sure the reader understood what I am talking about, especially when a tutorial or review is targeted to the Average Joe.
