Thumbs up

Nice test Gabriel !

Hope to see more tests like this, using different price ranges

Good conclusion about the VGA, I sugest to you use a faster VGA too, like the 9600GT or another close to it.

Cheers.

I would like to have seen a more powerful GPU used as a 8500GT is pretty bad compared to even something like a 9600GT or 3800 series or in fact even previous generations like x1900 series.

I have seen elsewhere that the amount of cache in a CPU does noticeably affect gaming performance, more so than anything else, but would be interested to know how its affected on the even the most basic Intel dual-core CPUs.

Surely you can't really draw any conclusions from what you had as the CPU was not really being pushed with the GPU that was being used.

Hello,

Thanks for your comments. I tried to use a low-end VGA because we were reviewing low-end CPUs and companies like Dell sell PCs with this VGA for their computers based on these CPUs.

I will make some new testings with a mid-range video card as soon as time allows and update the review.

I ask you a little patience.

Cheers,
Gabriel.
