The newly designed logo has not been inserted... What went wrong? |

| Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2005 Amsterdam, The Netherlands Posts: 2 ![]() | 1. check for bios update (qhw1001.bin) & download 2. copied bios files to DOS 5.0 boot-disk 3. created new logo.epa with progs as mentioned 4. updated qhw1001.bin with new logo using cbrom124.exe 5. boot from fdd 6. at > i entered 'flash'(as per instructions came along with qhw1001.bin) 7. machine re-boot Great: the EPA polluted logo did actually disappear but my verry own did not come into place. | Administrator Join Date: Oct 2004 USA Posts: 2,553 ![]() | Hum, I don't know, once this happened to me and had to do with the image specs required, specially that the image must be black and white: 136 pixels wide, 126 pixels high, 72 dpi and black and white mode (this mode is also called by other names, depending on the program, like B&W, 2 colors or 1 bit quality). Define black for the background color and white for pen drawing color. You must save it in bmp format (1 bit bitmap). The file must not be larger than 2,582 bytes. Maybe is something there. Try making a very simple one to see what happens. Gabriel |
