Default ECS 790 Board Review

Hard to understand why ECS would omit DVI from this board, since it has so many other features.

Any PCI Express video card should work.

Hi!

What's the difference between a Crossfire running at 16x or running at 8x? There is significant lost of performance?

Thanks!

That's relative to the VGAs that will be installed.

For two HD 3870 or better maybe there is some performance loss. But I only saw one (old) test comparing PCI-E 1.1 and 2.0. Maybe Gabriel will clear this point for us.

Here is a good example of the difference between teory and practice.

Even though theoretically there is difference, you should not see any difference.

Cheers,
Gabriel.
