Thank you for paying attention to your veiwers and filling in the requests made, but it's also nice to come to a site and see updated content, I hate it when I search the internet only to find out dated content.

Because the 64 bits of the CPU are a totally diferent thing, the dual channel was launched for the Athlon XP and "early Pentium 4", both 32 bits processors.

The memories bits are explained on the tutorial

Default will DDR400 and DDR333 work together as dual channel ?

I have a 775Dual-915GL ASRock Motherboard. The memory specs are : 2 DDR DIMM slots: DDR1 and DDR2 supports PC3200 (DDR400) / PC2700 (DDR333), Max. 2GB, Dual Channel Memory Technology support.

If i use 2 512MB - one DDR400 and other DDR333 will it work in Dual Channel ?

No it will not.

The sticks of RAM need to be of identical size, speed, and RAM timings. These probably differ on the timings and speed. I believe you can custom set the timings on some motherboards (overclocking or underclocking?), but I don't think the speed can be changed.

If you already have one and are buying an additional stick, try to match the speed (e.g. DDR400) and RAM timings (e.g. 5-5-5-15) exactly.

Best wishes.
