| Junior Member Join Date: Mar 2008 Posts: 2 ![]() | Forget the SLI, for the price of the motherboard and extra video card (350+250) You can get a gigabyte P35-DS3L, E8400 Core 2 CPU, and 8 GIGS OF DDR2 800 Gskill RAM WITH MONEY LEFT OVER! So lets review, you get the same video card you were going to get, and then you can get a great Overclockers board, A Wolfdale great OC CPU, 8 GIGS RAM.... I have this and am running at 3.6 GHZ, probably can do 3.8 GHZ but it plays everything great now so why bother? The ONLY game that uses more horsepower is Crysis and who really plays it? I have it and dont, but it does play fine on my system at 1024x768 all settings High... SLI should be renamed SILy LOL!!! |
