Free Convert program

Hi, l would like to download, and then burn movies on DVD for myself.
ls there a free program that converts so it will copy, and then burn to DVD, so it will work on my DVD player.

if you want to burn movies then you need CDBurnerXP (the only one that is free) and if you want to convert you need any video converter
