Olle P - still - the rectifier didn't give up, transistors did, oddly enough. I can't understand why because even at 12x115V they have plenty of room. BTW - looks like another SHENZHEN CHI YUAN INDUSTRIAL CO LTD unit and it looks inside just like LCPower that they sell here in YURP. They only add a PFC choke.... nice efficiency indeed for an old AT-like design. |

Just to clarify, you could "fix" this power supply by replacing the switching transistors. The secondary rectifiers have nothing to do with the explosion. Cheers, Gabriel. |

Rated for only 3A it should blow faster than the switching transistors rated for 24A, if I'm not too off. (Oh, and you could also make a notice on page 8 that the explosion is more than two minutes into the video.) Cheers Olle |
