Hi,

The review didn't comment on this, but it appears that the Samsung SP1203N PATA drive is practically as fast, in particular the minimum is really fast, only a tiny bit off the SP2504C.

Doesn't this argue against the advantages of SATA ?

Hi, The review didn't comment on this, but it appears that the Samsung SP1203N PATA drive is practically as fast, in particular the minimum is really fast, only a tiny bit off the SP2504C.
