A quality PSU no doubt, but insofar as you have stated that awards are also based on value, the same $60 will buy this Seasonic 80+ bronze, modular, 520W unit: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817151093

Seasonic makes excellent PSUs, but their prices are always kind of irregular on Newegg.

the 380 is $60 (inc shipping)
the 430 is $70 ($60 at Amazon.com)
the 520 is $76
the 520 modular is $70
the 620 is $87
the 620 modular is $90 (IMO beating Corsair's TX650 V2 for price/performance)

In contrast, a Corsair (another 'brand' with a good track record) modular PSU starts at about $100 for a 550W.

Like Onus said, the 520W modular by Seasonic (and 620W modular) are terrific price/performance. These are top-tier PSUs being sold for less than the competition.

Maybe they are trying to get rid of old stock? Really strange. I haven't notice that, otherwise I would have mentioned on the review.
