Default Hmmm, not so easy it seems

"Even a user without any knowledge in electronics can assemble it without great difficulty"

Somehow I doubt that. Is there any soldering required? If so how do you solder. There is more to it than placing the stuff on the tip of a solder iron.

Also, how do you remove the transformer off an old modem?

Hi,

Although soldering is recommended it is not required, you can simply join the wires and terminals, twist them and them insultate them with insulating tape. To remove the transformer from the old modem you can desolder it following our tutorial on that:

I'll add this piece of information on the tutorial, thanks for letting us know.

Cheers,
Gabriel.

Lightbulb software

Great topic, thanks!
But you did not mention the software that can be used for recording.
I tried Sound Snooper and Modem Spy.
They start and stop recording autimatically after you pick up the call...
I am not sure if I can insert liks here, so simply google for links.
