I hate the DIMM slots ASUS have been using of late which only have the one clip. Between that, the poor value for money, and the fact that most of the ASUS boards I've used died within 2-3 years, I won't even consider this.

Please, jcgeny, tell us which are the errors on number of slots, so we can correct it.

the sabertooth is one mainboard having the error :

i looked at the picture and at the asus website and they wrote like you 1 + 1 pci 2 and 3 16 x slot while on the image we see clearly 3 16 x long slot .

I couldn't understand what you mean, can you be more specific?

Let me clarify jcgeny's point.

The datasheet says

PCIe 3.0 slots: 1 (x16/x0 or x8/x8)
PCIe 2.0 slots: 1 (x4)

http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/artic...therboard/1645

You can't have x8/x8 mode on a single PCIe 3.0 slot. It should be:

PCIe 3.0 slots: 2 (x16/x0 or x8/x8)
PCIe 2.0 slots: 1 (x4)

like what newegg has on details
