Not so fast FSP, using cheap Capxon capacitors on that monitoring board.

Also, why is there no 5VSB standby chip? How much did they save, 2 pennies per unit?

Thank you for adding info about the 5VSB circuitry. Now how about testing the efficiency of it? How about no load draw, 1 amp draw efficiency, 1.5 amp draw efficiency, 2 amp draw, etc? I know there is a great deal of variance, and even some platinum supplies are horribly inefficient, yet many supplies spent a majority of their time in this stage.

I am quirious how did you make fotos of the transistors. Did you actually desolder it from the PSU and then put em back?
Or is it a trade secret
