The inside of this case, including the drive mounting trays and the "cable management" brackets, looks a lot like the original Coolermaster CM-690, but with foam on the side panels rather than fan openings. It is way too expensive for what it is.

Definitely a highly overpriced knockoff of the original CoolerMaster 690. The only advantages over the original are the black interior and sound deadening pads on the side panels, but otherwise a CM 692 is a much better option for about half of the cost. Personally I think this should be noted in the review, but that's just me.

A couple of mistakes though.

From page 2:

Quote:
The bottom panel, seen in Figure 8, has a mesh for the power supply fan and a mesh for an optional 80, 90, 120, or 140 mm fan. Unfortunately these meshes are to equipped with air filters.
Not sure, but I think should say "are not equipped with air filters".

From page 5:

Quote:
The top-most 5.25 bay comes with an adapter that can be use to install an external 3.5 device, and internal 3.5 device or an internal 2.5 device.
I think this should be "an internal 3.5".

Otherwise an excellent review.

In figure 14, there is a hole just to the right of the top fan (on the motherboard tray), do you know if it is possible to route ATX12V/EPS12V connectors through that hole?

So far this is the most indepth review I have read of this case, so thanks for the attention to detail.

Thanks for the compliment.

Passing a cable through this hole is possible, but unlikely, as it would be a tight fit because there is not enough space between the motherboard tray and the right panel, once the panel is installed back.
