TrickleStar decided to lower their prices from yesterday to today. I updated the review with the new prices:

TV TrickleSaver: $19.95
PC TrickleSaver: $16.95
PC TrickleSwitch: $9.95

So, how does that USB-thingy know when the computer is off?

I purchased a similar device not too long ago, and that triggers to "off" when the USB-port isn't powered. Since all USB-ports run on 5Vsb they're always on, and so are the preipherals when using the device...
Does this "Trickle Saver" connector work any differently?

Cheers
Olle

Cheaper yes. Easier, definitely not, as for manually shutting down you usually have to crawl under your desk and remember to do that everytime...

I must add that some devices, especially speakers, are always consuming power, even when their on/off switch is set to off! :-O
