I am taking this review down because the numbers are not adding up when compared to other reviews posted today based on the same configuration. We probably have a flaw in our methodology that we must find out. I will update this thread with more information as soon as we discover what is causing the low numbers.

We've finally finished retesting this video card. The new results favor the GeForce GTX 460. We added more RAM to our test bed and also change the image configuration of most of the games.

Cheers,
Gabriel.

I missed the first round this was up. Seems intriguing that you got very differentiating results (from the "norm") by using different settings.
Now that you've found out what caused the differences I see no fault in publishing the former values as well, pointing out what might happen if you use the card in other combinations!
Not all card buyers use the same very high end CPU and RAM that you used for the latest test run, you know...

I'm also a bit intrigued by the test results compared to the reference GTX460. Overclocking the core only will show where and when the card is limited by the core and where the memory bandwidth is the limiting factor.
From your results it seems like this card is mostly limited by the core speed, at least at high resolutions where low frame rates might be a problem.

Cheers
Olle
