Really? I had it on my five year old FS laptop, that also featured a splitter cable allowing you to connect both keyboard and mouse at the same time.

This motherboard seems more attractive than the Smackover, since this one carry more of the features I use. (But then it also has many extra features that increase the cost...)

I've seen an indicated price of $300 for the P6T, so I suppose the Smackover should be substantially cheaper.

Default Memory capabillity

In the revue it says that the MB can support 12GB only, but ASAS states that it can support 24GB

The revue:
[With ASUS P6T Deluxe you can have up to 12 GB (Intel “Smackover” supports 16 GB) and this is clearly limitation of the motherboard, not of the Core i7 CPU.]
