What makes me puzzled is the results of the Darkest of Days test, low PhysX settings...
If PhysX is handled by the CPU only, there should be very little difference between the ATI and nVidia cards. The test show the ATI cards to generate considerably lower frame rates, so there's something fishy going on...

No, it's heatpipes, just like the vast majority of coolers...
