Oklahoma Wolf has already reviewed the 500W version at JG. It's a decent performer (although the 12V ripple was a little higher than some at 65mV), but I wouldn't trust the caps for longer than about three years (it had Taiwanese caps, which are too close to hot parts).
No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the coils backwards!
