I don't understand how being a "mature technology" is a knock against CRTs. If anything that's good!

Secondly, I disagree with the comparison of LCD and DLP rer-projection units being of disimilar size. My parents have a 42" Samsung DLP set and my brother has a 42" Samsung LCD set. They're the same size. My 57 Mitsubishi DLP set is about as deep as their 42" sets.
