Default Two Amazon sellers tried to bribe me

After I posted a negative review on Amazon about two sellers, each seller contacted me and offered to refund the shipping charge if I would change my review to a positive one. I declined the offer. Maybe that is why so many Amazon sellers have positive reviews??

That, and the also very common practice to counter a negative with abysmal critique of the one giving it.

Have you been given lots of bad rep since your decline of the "offer"?

Cheers

The funniest thing was that they said our results were very different from the results achieved by other publications.
I don't know that they are all that different. I killed 4 Huntkey units when I bought them under the Rocketfish and Dynex brand.

Exactly my point. They were comparing our reviews to the other lousy reviews published by small websites.

Also, I got this very nice e-mail from Travis Chen:

Quote:
Well their PR don't know the value of CORRECT reviews on the web. They got used to websites publishing negative reviews, got their ad contract paid, and shut their mouth down, which is always the case in China.
Cheers
Gabriel.

Default The real question is...

which site will be man enough to tell us exactly which sites use questionable judgment in reviews & advertising. I doubt any will, fearing a backlash against them from clients for spilling the beans on their cozy relationships with some of these sites. But, who knows? Perhaps I will be proven wrong.

Default i feel ashamed of what huntkey did!

i learned this frome cnbeta.com, and i feel very angry and ashamed of this.
i am a chinese.
The companies in mainland of China(most of), are used to using some immoral way to promote their product.
The only goal their have, is to earned money. Maybe what i said is some kind of prejudice, and now i am like a souse, but it is true!
there must be something wrong, in the system, in the society, in the deep down of peoples' heart.

finally, i am very happy that hardwaresecrets is fair, un-bribable, hope that you can stick to this principle.

BTW: we (the users in the mainland), can not load your blog directly and the forum. i use proxy and finally can post.
