I'm not so convinced about that.
1. The shared audio is mostly a non issue, since headsets are typically plugged in through the front header on the motherboard and the vast majority of users don't use 5.1 speakers for their computer.
2. The Audio circuits differ. VIA vs Realtek. Personally, and admittedly only based on rumours, I wouldn't trust a VIA audio chip.
To me the fight is between the iCafe and the slightly more expensive Extreme4, where the iCafe's lack of PATA is the final nail in the coffin.
