Default missing partition for my harddrive

My latitude is giving me problems which I hope can be solved. It is a latitude e 6410 and I call myself putting it back into default by pressing F12 and going into the system log and reset it that way. When trying to reboot the diagnostic says that I have a missing partition for my harddrive. So did I wipe my harddrive by mistake. How to put back on I suppose to have Windows xp profeesional edition 32 bit.
