From the methodology description it's not clear what type of fan setting is used.
Do you let the motherboard have the fan running at full speed, or is there some thermal control involved? The latter would skew the results since the fan speed would depend on absolute temperature and not temperature difference.

The fan configuration was in "auto" mode.
But at the temperatures the cores reach, all the coolers work at maximum speed under full load.
There´s nothing as practical as a good theory.
