Nice looking board but it has a naff layout for the PCIe x16 slots and the SATA 6Gbps ports
would have been better to have the pcie slots as x16 x16 x8 x8 not x16 x8 x16 x8 specially if you don't have a long CF or SLI bridge connector

'Twould make a Jedi Class Folding@Home or SETI@Home machine with two PCI-E_16 and two PCI-E_8 ATI or Cuda Core GPUs installed!

The motherboard comes with these connectors, so this not a real issue.

He was talking about the position of the slots, he thinks the two x16 slots should be side by side, instead of having an x8 slot between them.

I know, but the table says x16 x16 x8 x8. I assummed that was talking the positions too, but now after a closer look at the picture, I can see otherwise, so Athlonite is right.

I'd rather have the gap for better cooling if only two cards are used.

Update: The slot configuration was wrong. The correct slot configuration is x16/x16/x8 or x16/x8/x8/x8. Also, "Sandy Bridge-E" processors have a PCI Express 3.0 controller. Sorry about that. I've just updated the review.
