Default Is this video card compatible with my system?

Hey everyone!

I was planning on upgrading my videocard but I am pretty new, so I was wondering if anyone could help me? I just want to make sure my new card is going to be compatible with my system..My system is:

22" Philips LED monitor
Amd Athlon II x4 630 2.8 ghz CPU
6 GB DDR3 Ram
XFX Nvidia 8800GT Alpha dog edition (Card I want to upgrade)
450 or 500W PSU, can't quite remember, and I can't find it anywhere on the unit or wires
Violet 6 M2N78-LA Mainboard w/ NVIDIA GeForce 9100 chipset
(motherboard came with HP6310 desktop, you can see all the specs here)

The cards i was looking at buying was the GTX 460 and GTX 550?

I was just wondering, does anyone think I will have problems running either of these cards? I will be using mainly for gaming (MW3, CSS, DIRT 3), which card do you think I should get? I read plenty online about the 2 and from what im seeing the 460 makes a better gaming card than the 550. Any help is much appreciated

thx!

Default

It is compatible, but you will probably need to upgrade your power supply.
