Thumbs up

Another great article in easy and understandable language by Mr. Torres. I am studying Computer Science and browsing the Internet and computer related forums for many years, and I must say this site becomes my favorite every time I navigate with my lovely firefox browser, through the tutorials, the news and the reviews. Also the recommended book is an original idea and very helpful. May the god be with all the hardware secrets team and continue the great job!

Is cascading two XOR elements with OR element correct?

XOR element should produce 0 if the number of the 1's in the input is even and 1 if the number is odd. When we connect outputs of the two XOR elements to OR element, as you show here in your article, the input combination 10 10 would result combination 1 1 in the input of the OR element and finally 1 on the output of the whole circuit, but the number of 1's in the input is even!.

Should not the two XOR elements be cascaded with the third XOR element rather than OR element, as it is proposed here?
