1) to what SATA3 port was it connected - the one from native intel x79 chipset or from the marvell controller?
2) was intell ssd toolbox installed? and all "optimizations" that it "recommends" performed? (readyboost, etc.)

if it's not too much trouble, can you also measure power consumption in the future reviews? you have the equipment for it
and for some savvy users it could be interesting to know

Hi andru,

Our SSD reviews are performed by Henry Butt, who lives in the U.K. and therefore doesn't have access to equipment we have in our lab in the U.S. In other words, he can't measure power consumption. In fact, not not even if the review was done here in our main lab we would be able to measure this, as our equipment is for measuring power supply consumption, and is not compatible with any other device.

As for the other questions, I will ask him to reply.

Hi andru,

As Gabriel said, I don't have the equipment available to test the power consumption of SSDs. The SSDs were connected to the Intel X79 chipset and the toolbox was installed. If you have any more questions please let me know!
