Default HELP please for "Anypak" driver

Can any of you great experts help this techno-phobe (age 61!) to salvage some data from an "Anypak" external drive bought in Singaproe when I lived there in the early 2000s.
FCC ID is: PIXZIV300K3
When i plug it in, the laptop will not recognise it and I cannot track down a site to D/L the driver.
HELP !!

Keith,

From what I researched (correct me if I am wrong), this is a USB external drive. If so, it doesn't need any drivers to work. If it is not being recognized by the operating system, try installing it on another computer. If it is really not being recognized, than it is defective.

If that is the case, you can recover the contents of the drive by opening the device and removing the internal hard drive, and installing the hard drive on a desktop PC.

I hope this helps,
Gabriel.
