Default Opinions on my Build

Does anyone have any problems or suggestion about my build? Also, could you suggest a suitable inexpensive power supply? Thanks very much!

This motherboard is not recommended for your CPU. Please pick a motherboard based on the Intel Z77 chipset. Please, also post the power supply you are thinking of buying.

Default Thanks

Why is this motherboard not recomended for my cpu? Motherboards with that chipset seem to be about twice the price! What psu would you recomend?

That board isn't fully compatible with the newer CPUs, although the B75 chipset is also fine if you don't anything too fancy (like http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gigabyte-GA-...430027&sr=1-41).

As for a PSU, the cheapest good quality one I could find on Amazon UK is the XFX Core edition 550W (http://www.amazon.co.uk/550w-Power-S...5429909&sr=1-5), which is just a re-badged Seasonic S12II.

Thanks for your reply! Ah yes, I notice that now when i red the small print!
How about the Asus P8H61-MX USB3 Motherboard (Socket 1155, Intel H61, DDR3, S-ATA 300, Micro ATX, PCI Express 3.0, USB 3.0, Gigabit LAN, GPU Boost)?

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-P8H61-M...5431505&sr=1-6

I quite like asus motherboards, ive had a couple before, and asus laptops, and they seem very reliable in my experience.

That board is still based on the H61 chipset. Use something with a B75 or Z77 chipset. If you insist on ASUS, then go with this - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-90-MIBI...458852&sr=1-58. Be warned, however, that it and the H61 boards have low quality Apaq capacitors.

So you think the ASUS P8B75-M LE Motherboard would be the best then?
Just for interest what are the differences between the chipsets? I know some of them use inbuilt graphics and things like that but are there other differences? Thanks for your help!

The main difference between the two chipsets is that the B75 natively supports 3rd Gen Core i_ CPUs (Ivy Bridge), and has an integrated USB3 controller. If you want to use the H61 board, then use a 2nd gen Core i_ CPU (Sandy Bridge).

If you insist on ASUS, then yes, the P8B75-M LE is the board you should use.
