Default Optical Digital Connection from PC to Home Theater amp

I would like to connect my PC with my Home Theater Yamaha amp via optical cable, but my pc does not have optical S/PDIF output.
I find that my ASUS motherboard has onboard S/PDIF output .
Now ,I try to find what kind of inderface must connect to my motherboard for optical output. I see for the Shuttle PC-17 SPDIF adapter , but this is only for Shuttle XPC . Please help me to make to right decision .
See the attachment for my motherboard discription.

Hi,

Please refer to our tutorial on this subject: http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/82

This adapter is not easily found.

You will probably need to buy and install an add-on sound card.

Cheers,
Gabriel.

I find that my ASUS motherboard has onboard S/PDIF output

then all you really need is the spdif cable to from the back panel to your amp

which Asus motherboard model do you have my Crosshair V formula has built in spdif and the port on the back panel for it
