Seems like a nice PSU, but at $80 I find it hard to describe it as "entry level".
To me one requirement for an entry level PSU is a price tag < $50.

Around $100 it's mid range and > $150 it's high end.

Cheers

Hello

"Entry level" in this context refers to the wattage. Otherwise I would have used the term "low-end". I.e. it is an entry-level power supply but not a low-end model.

Cheers,
Gabriel.

No the Q0270R is the integrated power IC for standby's flyback circuitry, and CM6805 is in charge of both the PFC and the main PWM stage.

The results from this review were updated today to reflect AC power and efficiency measured by our new precision power meter. The updated results did not affect our conclusions or recommendation about this power supply.
